What You'll Do The Secure Policy and Access (SPA) team in Cisco is looking for hardworking individuals to build the next generation suite of services for the Intent Based Network that enables enhanced control of the wired and wireless network in both on-prem and cloud environment with near real time actionable views across the network, security, device, user and applications
In this position you will be building and evolving Cisco's identity services, by providing users with insights into the behavioral classification of endpoints on their networks. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will lead with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a dedication to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is significant.
Who You'll Work With The identity services evolution team is a group of high energy, customer focused engineers who bring different perspectives and experiences to bear on the toughest engineering challenges.
Developing new user-facing features using React.js
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Write Unit test case using Jest enzyme for the component which you have developed.
Write Functional Test using pytest for application.
Who You Are A qualified candidate will possess:
MS/BS in computer science or engineering
6+ years of software development experience
Deep understanding of React.js and its core principles
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with code versioning tools GIT.
Basic knowledge of Python is a plus.
Thorough understanding of unit test framework like Jest and Enzyme.
