Description

As an Engineer, you will
contribute to solving technical problems while growing your analytical skills
and mastery of engineering concepts. You will partner with and provide
technical guidance to global teams. You will continually learn and stay abreast
of Cat systems and products. You will also continue to grow your professional
network.

You will support current
and legacy products updates participating in quality, velocity and cost
improvement projects.

You will directly work
with Operations team to solve line issues and improve manufacturability of
current products while using and fostering the support of the whole CAT
organization and relevant COE for final solution.

 

Job
Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Begin partnering with
and providing technical guidance within and between teams

* Gather relevant
information, analyze data, identify relationships and predict performance

* Evaluate new products,
processes, or systems

* Collaborate with
colleagues located in India, US or other locations on a daily basis

* Communicate results to
customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units

* Contribute to the design
of new products and processes

* Perform product and
process maintenance

 



  



Required
Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree (or
equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials
Science curriculum

* 0 - 3 years of relevant
work experience

* Strong analytical
skills.

* Ability to read, write
and speak in English

Desired
Qualifications:

* Master’s degree (or
equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials
Science curriculum.

* CREO and Team Center
systems knowledge preferred

* Understanding and
knowledge of mobile machinery and/or heavy equipment preferred

* Hydraulic systems
components and schematic understanding preferred

* Electrical systems
components and schematic understanding preferred

*
Vibration / Model analysis knowledge preferred
