EMEA Health Economic and Value Strategist (f/m), Italy-182207
Location: Home-Office in Italy

As a Health Economic and Value Strategist you will formulate HE strategies for our medical device products in your assigned EMEA country. 
You will influence reimbursement, create economic evidence to support value dossiers and be the definitive expert in Coding, Coverage and Reimbursement, and Policy. You will ensure successful definition of value propositions as part of a cross functional Market Access Team. You will work across businesses to enable the execution of commercial strategies to drive profitable growth in a changing healthcare environment, with the goal of securing maximum sustained reimbursement.
You will formulate detailed HE product strategies, involving relevant internal stakeholders. You will identify, develop and communicate an impactful value proposition to Providers and Intermediaries as part of a cross functional Market Access Team (Product Specialist/Product Manager, Strategic Marketer, Health Economics, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, etc.). You will define economic value models, utilising economic value analysis as well as associated evidence definition and collection, to support relevant value propositions, as well as complete dossier applications. In addition you will represent Gore’s interests in relevant CC&R policy discussions with external policy groups. Importantly you will pursue maximum coverage, reimbursement and payment policies for all MPD medical device products in your assigned country, engaging with external consultants for guidance if necessary. You will also initiate HE research as required; train selling teams on how to represent economic value to customers; and educate KOLs and relevant stakeholders on economic value arguments. Key will be your role to partner with the GPO, Tendering, Provider Marketing, and Business Operations Teams to ensure successful communication of Gore’s total value offering to Providers, as well as your collaboration to articulate the value case supporting the development of marketing materials. Finally you will forecast and monitor investments.
Bachelor degree (Masters a plus) in Health Economics, Public Health, Health Information Management, or a related business discipline plus ideally 10 years’ in medical device, pharmaceutical or life sciences
Advanced knowledge of coding and payment systems for physician and hospital provider services and experience interfacing with medical device policy groups and influencing healthcare institutions, policymakers and payers.
Demonstrated ability to create clinical and economic evidence, including methodology and analysis, to support new and commercialised products.
Demonstrated ability to develop HE strategies to capitalise on reimbursement and the ability to partner with sales organisations and business partners to drive profitable share growth.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team environment, both virtually and on-site.
