Job summary

The Red Hat University (RHU) is looking for a Senior Manager for the Americas Learning Delivery to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will manage a team of facilitators covering a wide range of technical, sales, and leadership and managing training topics. You'll be responsible for training delivery through your team, the development of your associates, and making sure performance standards are met or exceeded. In addition to managing the Americas training delivery function, your work will include additional global responsibilities, such as leadership of our global scheduling program as well as coordination of production for virtual training. You will oversee the implementation of delivery and facilitation for all training programs to ensure premium workforce preparation. You will maintain ongoing partnerships with other resources and groups focused on optimizing costs, maximizing value, and continual performance improvement. We'll need you to support all aspects of classroom and virtual facilitation, including induction training and continued development. You will also coordinate with outside agencies, consultants, contractors, and partners to deliver courses or content when necessary. Primary job responsibilities

Oversee new hire orientation, continuing education, sales training, technical training, program-specific training, management development training, leadership development training, and other training as needed by the business
Manage the performance of the Americas facilitators, including instructor-led and virtual training delivery types
Communicate with internal RHU colleagues, regional and functional consultants, curriculum and portfolio managers, learning design, and other internal departments to ensure alignment of global strategies, premium program performance, and associate satisfaction
Partner with the regional learning delivery manager to ensure best practices are used globally and consistently and manage the regional budget
Develop, deliver, and optimize instructor staffing plans that ensure maximum instructor utilization based on skill set, language, and demand
Lead global training scheduling function, with accountability for processes and alignment of the cross-functional team to guide changes and improvements
Review training delivery schedules, locations, and delivery type to ensure plans align to defined resource models
Coach and mentor trainers on delivery excellence and monitor and report training satisfaction and other metrics
Facilitate programs and knowledge transfer in assigned areas and ensure internal and third-party facilitators are certified and follow our protocol
Facilitate or co-facilitate trainings based on training demand and train-the-trainer needs
Select, train, develop, and manage staff performance and perform regular assessment of classroom or facilitation skills of direct reports
Required skills

Experience managing a team with the ability to guide facilitators and manage training services provided by a 3rd-party
Solid leadership skills with the ability to ensure performance while maintaining high team morale
Thorough understanding of training delivery and administration
Solid project or program management experience, including planning and budgeting
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Willingness to travel
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7+ years of experience; equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
