Job summary

The Red Hat Engineering team is looking for a Co-Op Intern to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will work on tools that automate the building and testing of Linux kernel patches. As the team rolls out features and scales up, we stumbled into unreliable infrastructure, so you’ll be expected to help us implement various solutions to stabilize our pipeline.
Primary job responsibilities

Create patches in GitHub to push and participate in code reviews
Provide documentation to explain the work
Work with a small remote team and a local mentor on developing your programming skills
Required skills

Knowledge or experience with Python
Understanding of how automation works
Familiarity with the fundamental concepts of GitHub and Travis CI
