Job summary

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Web Marketing Specialist to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Marketing team. You’ll work closely with all EMEA marketing teams to ensure that all online content is strategic, targeted, engaging, and consistent with corporate strategies and brand guidelines. You’ll collaborate every day with a diverse team of colleagues across the organization to grow our content and audience. As a Web Marketing Specialist, you’ll need to have a combination of extended writing or editing experience and tactical implementation skills of a project manager. You should be extremely organized and motivated with the ability to function successfully in a large, fast-paced organization.
Primary job responsibilities

Own the EMEA events section on our corporate web property Redhat.com
Create, develop, and manage regional and local event pages on Redhat.com with tools like
Drupal (CMS) and Certain (Event Automation Solution)
Maintain brand consistency across website pages and assets
Work with the EMEA Regional Demand Center and Field Marketing teams to maintain existing
content, monitor conversion rates and optimize pages for search engine and other online marketing efforts
Coordinate web projects, improvements, and deployments across teams
Required skills

Bachelor's degree or a related discipline
Understanding of content management platforms like Drupal
Proficiency in HTML and CSS
Effective time management, communication, and negotiation skills to meet requests from stakeholders within tight timeframes
Knowledge of web analytics and reporting tools like Omniture and Clicktale and web personalization-at-scale platforms; demonstrated appetite for using data to optimize user journeys and experiences on the web
Understanding of search engine optimization best practices
