As an Accounts Payable Team Leader (German speaking) you will be responsible for managing respective Procure to Pay team and performing all people management related activities including, but not limited to workload balancing, information sharing in the team, staffing, performance evaluation, development support, training need assessment and tracking of participation, feedback, check-ins, coaching, compensation, conflict handling, performance improvement planning, succession and talent management, rewarding. You will manage respective business processes, ensure KPIs are met on both a team and individual level, and manage relationship with all stakeholders and customers.
Main tasks including but not limited to:
Recruiting and on-boarding new comers, identifying individual talent and executing retention plan
Setting up clear, right, challenging expectations and goals, with desired behaviors for team members and role modelling these
Frequently evaluating individual performance, arranging feedback sessions and motivating team members
Coaching and developing the team members, building a high performing team
Holding regular team meetings, updating team on all relevant information (local admin topics, operational and process changes)
Managing team holidays, overtimes and resources effectively
Responsible for team`s compensation management, including yearly bonus distribution and salary increase
Coordinating and tracking team members' training participation and cancellations
Creating a safe and positive team environment and ensuring team always demonstrates the right mind-set and attitude
Allocating workload and prioritising tasks, resource planning within team
Ensuring that defined team KPIs are met on team- and individual level, monitoring adherence on a regular basis
Continuously working on improving the performance, service quality, effectiveness and efficiency of own team, and the Shared Service Centre
Collaborating effectively and closely with Business Process Management, Service Delivery Management organizations
Ensuring high quality knowledge transfers and smooth transitions in case of transferring work to own area
Being the first point of contact for key stakeholders, building a strong collaborative relationship with them
Carrying out regular operational reviews with stakeholders
Maintaining full and timely transparency on customer issues and backlogs, escalations
Holding a University or College Degree
Excellent English and German language skills
Experience in AP/P2P processes preferably at an SSC
Strong interpersonal skills
