Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Big Data Architect
with experience of architecting and designing BI & Advanced Analytics
services to join our Hong Kong team.
About the role:
Being at the forefront of technology we are now helping EY clients
move from traditional data warehouse environments onto big data platforms or
are helping create hybrid environments combining old and new technologies. This
is an exciting time that involves new sets of problems and leveraging our
knowledge of traditional environments and pushing the boundaries of big data
You will be joining a
growing team of data focused consultants working on some of the most exciting
projects in Hong Kong. This team works on a mix of Big Data, traditional business
intelligence and data analysis projects with a strong focus on advanced
analytics, data science and cloud technologies.
Architecting and designing Big
Data platforms on cloud or on-premise
clients on latest big data and analytic technologies
junior team members
architecture against business requirements
Architecture input to pre-sales activities
explaining Big Data Architecture technologies to senior client stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have all of the following:
6+ years industry experience in
Data & Analytics with
1-3 years experience in a
similar role as a Solution Architect, Data Warehouse Architect or Big Data
or knowledge of traditional DW environments: Teradata, Oracle, DB2, SQL
or knowledge of Batch and real-time streaming technologies such as
Datastage, Informatica, ODI, Spark, Flink, Kafka
or knowledge of Big Data platforms such as Hortonworks, MAPR, EMR,
HDInsight or Cloudera
or knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
communications skills, written and verbal
