Analyst/Associate Capital Structuring and Advisory Belgium

As a Capital Structuring & Advisory (CS&A) Analyst/Associate, you play a crucial role in complex financing transactions at the very heart of ING. You work within ING Wholesale Banking Belgium, based in Brussels. You will be instrumental in the origination, analysis, structuring and execution of transformationalfinancing (loans, bonds, equity, hedging) transactions; both for Corporate Clients and Midcorp & Institutionals in Belgium. You will work closely with the CS&A team in Brussels but also in Amsterdam, the client relationship manager and various product specialists. You will be directly involved in clients’ strategic events, such as mergers and acquisitions. Therefore, you will continuously focus on client interests/satisfaction and strive to go the extra mile.

has a master degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance (above average academic grades);
has had a first work experience (max 3 years) (in a transaction-driven environment);
is fluent in Dutch, English and French (verbal and written);
can operate under tight deadlines and in stretched situations;
is hard-working and flexible in terms of working hours.

Your work environment will be the enthusiastic and highly driven team of CS&A Belgium. The team is part of the Global CS&A platform consisting of c. 40 professional colleagues based in Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Paris, Madrid, Moscow and Singapore. Working in the CS&A team means working in a dynamic and agile environment on very challenging, complex and visible transactions at the very heart of the ING organization.
Your role …
As a CS&A Analyst/Associate your job is very diverse :
Preparing complex financial models to analyze a company’s financials, capital and debt structure and its financing capacity;
Preparing presentations and pitch books about integrated debt and equity financing solutions ;
Doing industry, (implied) rating profile and peer group analysis;
Assisting in credit analyses and in writing credit applications;
Assisting and analyzing due diligence information and reviewing transaction documentation;
Contributing to and supporting the execution of transaction (financing) processes;
Maintaining active contacts with other departments/disciplines within ING.
