Analytical Project Leader
Lead and manage all analytical activities for assigned projects. Apply scientific/technical expertise to address complex R&D issues and actively support TRD strategies and goals by participating in cross-functional teams. Lead scientific programs; co-ordinate interdisciplinary projects and teams. Develop long term strategies on science and technologies. Foster a culture of innovation, empowerment, trust, learning, diversity and inclusion and high performance.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Actively participate in CMC teams, projects, networks and/or platforms. Fulfill all related tasks and responsibilities related to own discipline.
Delivers high quality source information for regulatory filings (i.e. IND/IMPD, BLA, MAA) and interacts with authorities where appropriate. Moreover, ensures timely and high quality responses to health authority questions.
Proactively communicate key issues and any other critical topics in a timely manner to major accountabilities the appropriate management level and/or to any other relevant project team member(s).
Actively support TRD as a technical expert on Due diligence teams. Provide quality assessment of potential in-licensing products in a timely manner and support follow-up activities as appropriate.
Ensure quality, quantity and timelines in all assigned projects, networks and/or plat-forms.
Proactively contribute to budget forecast, in particular related to accurate capacity needs. Ensure costs and cost awareness in all assigned projects, networks and/or platforms.
Optimize scientific/technical related activities in assigned projects, networks and/or platforms. Create and implement optimized processes and procedures for activities within the own area of responsibilities.
Lead risk analyses and/or peer review and process challenge meetings.
Generate and select most appropriate scientific documents to hand over to internal and/or external partners (TechOps, authorities, other companies).
Interact/collaborate with Research and/or other functions in Development to facilitate transfer of knowledge and deliveries of DS and DP.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Ph.D. in life or pharmaceutical sciences with 5 years of experience.
Fluency in written and spoken English, with working knowledge of German and French being advantageous
Thorough understanding of late phase biologics drug substance development or equivalent
Outstanding scientific knowledge. Excellent scientific/technical writing skills.
Strong dedication to manage processes required
Strong and dedicated personality, demonstrated in cross-functional/ international environment (matrix organization)
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to coordinate a number of tasks simultaneously, prioritize and deliver against tight timelines
Is able to develop strategic and operational goals; engage and align the entire organization around these goals
Ensures a structure and mindset of continuous improvement to flexibly adapt to changing customer requirements.
