BD Activation Leader works in conjunction with the Area Growth Markets Leader to deliver on growth goals outlined in the Area Growth Market Execution plans by:

P
r
o
viding
e
xpe
rt advice to the Area Growth Markets Leader and team regarding the best way to execute EY’s overall go-to-market strategy in the identified best high growth accounts
Providing input and enable the selection of high growth accounts in key segments through market analysis and in collaboration with Sector, Service Line and Market Segment Leaders
Acting as a strategic advisor and coach to Client Service Partners (CSPs) in the identified high growth accounts across the Area to help develop account strategies
Facilitating business development through client sessions leveraging EY 7 Drivers of Growth framework and other firm’s tools, including GBB, etc.
Providing coaching and guidance to the BD community and client service professionals on world-class delivery of facilitated session with client enabled by EY 7 Drivers of Growth and Other EY tools and frameworks. Develops a network or super-coaches in the regions
Leading external market and client-facing activities, drives executive relationship meetings and discussions, and builds target relationships on specific accounts

Strategic identification of opportunities to improve margin levels

Providing training and real-time coaching to client serving professionals on how to effectively use the 7 Drivers of Growth framework to have client conversations
Supporting key initiatives and campaigns that will drive revenue
Pursuits
Serve as the strategic advisor on major pursuits within the growth market/identified accounts
Support pipeline development and pursuit excellence within the market /identified accounts by identifying opportunities and assisting with assigning appropriate resources to support it and executing a successful strategy to win the account
May also participate in the win/loss debriefs on key pursuits within the market
Operational Excellence
Monitor/analyze market pipeline to ensure an appropriate cross-Service Line mix of opportunities
Deliver exceptional client service by driving robust use of the 7 Drivers of Growth framework and EY sales methodologies
Participate in revenue planning process for applicable accounts
