Optimization of plant internal processes and procedures.
Responsible for process optimization (technical and work processes and automation).
Responsible for definition, acquisition and controlling of KPIs for technical and work processes.
Responsible for plant qualification concepts.
Responsible for process safety.
Responsible for the coordination and further development of the continuous improvement process.
Plant Operation Management
Prepare and provide training about operation manual;
Monitoring daily operation to ensure plant runs under safe condition, with good quality and no environmental issues;
Fix and update operation parameter/condition if any deviation found.
Prepare the manufacturing procedure and batch cards, coordinate plant trials (interface to R&D) and document results.
Management of BOM (raw material requirements) and updated RMSD (for PSS).
Administrator for Asset Effectiveness (AE) and Overall Productivity Change (OPC).
Maintenance and Engineering
Initiate production process modification and small investment under coordination mechanical and E&I engineer.
Energy saving activity
Develop and implement the energy saving program.
Optimization of production processes (batch times, raw materials, utilities)
Prepare new batch card, new procedure when new products will be Introduced.
Provide service & support to customers about product handling issues.
Responsible for the performing detailed process analyses, identifying optimization levers, defining solution concepts.
Support QC Department in raw material qualification process, monthly statistics report, and quality deviation analysis.
Responsible for process optimization (procedures, automation, operator systems, and plant organization).
Selection and sustainable use of optimization tools (e.g. lean management tools & asset effectiveness tool.
Further development of automation (incl. operation concepts)
Responsible for implementing process changes in operations, including documentation and instruction of staff.
Responsible for support by centers of competence or technology units.
Responsible for operational innovations (e.g. point of contact for the introduction of new products to operations from R & D).
Responsible for future development of process documentation (production processes, workflows, supporting processes-logistics, planning)
Responsible for defining, collecting and controlling process and procedural KPIs (e.g. energy efficiency, staff qualification)
Responsible for coordination and further development of Lean / Continuous improvement process.
Responsible for operational training concepts.
Creation and development of qualification concepts.
Updating qualification documentation.
Education and training of mentors for special topics.
Responsible for issues of plant safety (focus on assets)
Responsible for the development and documentation of plant safety and environmental concepts (EHS evaluation, old equipment investigations, waste water protection concepts)
Inquiry into EHS events and implementation of preventive or corrective measures (focus processes).
Initiating and setting up of plant modifications/investments with focus on process and asset safety.
Responsible for issues of preventive fire protection.
Collaboration in Process Manager community in Greater China.
Liaise closely with various competence center (Automation, Analytics, Lean / Operational Excellence).
Collaboration with ED Global Technology Group Ludwigshafen.
