To drive our next phase of growth in Automotive, Auto-IOT and Telematics, we are expanding the System Test Platform group. The System Test Platform group is responsible for characterizing System level performance for Qualcomm leading-edge Snapdragon products in the most advanced processes. In this role you will be member of a team working on Planning, Developing and Integrating System level test for characterization of Auto/IOT/Telematics SOCs.

Responsibilities for this position include: Develop test plan for System level tests, work with board design team to design system level boards, work with Software and Hardware engineering teams to develop System level test cases, Integrate them into existing suite for Volume testing over Voltage and temperature, Validate and Debug Fails from ATE/Burn-In/Customer Returns to develop effective screens, provide technical support to various post silicon testing teams including Customer engineering teams.
The individual selected for the position, needs to be proactive, able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment, enthusiastic to work at times as an individual contributor and be passionate about delivering quality work.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

0-3 years of Hands on Systems/SW/ HW-SW interaction test experience, preferably in the mobile devices/microprocessor industry.
Experience in characterizing/writing/debugging code for Telematics and Connectivity IPs (GPS, WLAN, Bluetooth, CAN, UART, SPMI and FM) is required.
Good understanding of Semiconductors and SW architecture is required.
Good understanding of various test instruments like scope, Spectrum analyzer, Meters, PXI cards required.
Experience in analyzing specifications, creating test plans and test execution is required.
Experience of software fundamentals, software development life cycle, and configuration systems
Hands-on debugging/triaging experience using Android debugging tools and/or using JTAG Lauterbach/Trace32 is required.
Industry standard software development tools: HSW/HE debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs and build tools.
Experience in C#, Perl/Python is a plus.
