Build up a strong knowledgeable team by taking a key role in the recruitment process.Lead the daily activities of the Harmonized Reporting team (Reports Develpment stream).Your team is responsible for defining, creating, developing, and delivering the set of reports and dashboards agreed with the business.Lead the set-up, stabilization, and further improvement of the Harmonized Reporting team (Reports and BI Development stream) as a part of FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis).Lead the process of the team's growth, while keeping delivering towards business based on the agreements made earlier.Continually work to improve the team and team's performance and define targets and goals for the team (and team members).Monitor and assess the performance of the team members in achieving the goals formulated.About 50% of your time would be dedicated to support hands on activities.Implement the vision for standardized and automated global harmonized finance reporting.Understand and align upon the strategy/vision behind the global harmonized finance reporting.Establish a strong collaboration with (but not limited to) the IM (Information Management), experts in Finance, and GBS (Global Business Services).You will be responsible for delivery (on time and in full) for the data repository required to create the set of reports/dashboards that should become available to the end users based on the roadmap/planning.Manage service level agreements regarding reporting services and drive team's performance against the defined SLA's.Contribute towards implementation of the standardized information platform to support financial / analytical reporting requirements.Secure the periodic creation and delivery of harmonized reporting and maintenance against the agreed timeliness, quality service levels and within agreed budgets.
Finance/Reporting/IT manager with 5+ years of experience in a management role within management reporting areas leading departments of 10+ FTEs.
Acquired experience and strong understanding of setting up and leading a Reporting center from a global perspective.
Having experience in hiring a large team within a short time span delivering a strong, knowledgeable and successful team.
Strategic and tactical thinker with strong business analytical skills (and understanding finance well) with the ability to analyze and assimilate data for critical business decisions in timely manner while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively across all layers in the organization, within a matrix environment.
Ability to work and delegate work whilst continuously retaining 'an eye' for the details.
Ability to manage and connect stakeholders on different levels of the organization.
Highly preferred: previous experience in setting up and managing a Reporting center or equivalent departments with a global Finance scope to deliver significant improvement in efficiency in the reporting processes.
Ability to deal with a lot of challenges simultaneously, selecting right priorities.
Previous management experience, proven people manager skills with the ability to build strong teams and lead and inspire others.
Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with proven capability of analyzing complex processes and issues resulting in efficient and successful resolution.
