Business Analyst – Commercial Planning

The Taste:

As a Business Analyst working with business Subject Matter Experts to illicit business requirements, convert them into business process designs, data model and information models. Assess the suitability of solutions to meet these requirements. Support the validation of any build on these solutions through system testing and UAT. Support the transition to the business to ensure the required understanding of the solution is embedded and fully understood.

The Commercial Team is responsible for Salesforce, TRAX, Net Revenue Management, Commercial Performance Management and Commercial Planning. It owns the deployment roadmap of these core assets on a global basis and provides design governance for them. 
The Business Analysts (BAs) on the team are responsible for:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in these Core Assets supporting the deployment by upskilling the DBS regional teams, who will then deploy to markets
Ensures the design standards and project methodology set by the team are followed by the regional project team
Seeks to sweat the asset first and then building new functionality only if needed
When working as project Business Analyst responsible for requirements analysis and idea generation
Works with regional project teams and markets to collate automation requirements for the business units
Delivering their work to consistently high standards in accordance with Diageo Business Services Best practice 
How to Serve:
University or College Degree
Fluent Business English
Experience and credibility in Business Analysis from a technology and commercial perspective
Strong IT background, previous experience as a developer is a bonus
Knowledge of one of our core platforms – Salesforce, Anaplan, Polaris, TRAX, or Power BI would be a bonus
Attention to detail is key, inquisitive & questioning nature
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Great at working as part of a cohesive, integrated team
