As a key part of this you will be responsible for identifying and growing targeted new business opportunities for the eCommerce division within a Retail across the EMEA region. Working with a team of Business Development Managers who look after corporate business, this role promotes Worldpay's services in EMEA across the eCom and OmniChannel propostion. The income from this region forms a key part of the overall commercial budget delivery and core part of future growth strategy!

How will you contribute?
You will be targeting new corporate clients in the EMEA region, operating in the Retail industry. You will build up new relationships from scratch, using a portfolio of target clients and attracting new ones. These new clients might be found from supplied leads or already known within your existing network. The role is strategic, engaging with senior stakeholders and is focused on delivering leading solutions to our customers that provide maximum value. Therefore the sales processes can be complex at times with long sales cycles.

Why you?
You will have a proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally within technology or payments, and you are familiar with long cycle consultative sales processes. You will also need to be highly flexible in your approach and be independent to drive your performance to achieve stretching targets. We would love for you to have a background or passion in the digital content industry as well as the ambition to dive into the payments industry.
Besides strong analytical skills and methodological way of working, you will have excellent communicative skills (concise and direct) and experience in identifying and influencing key decision makers and stakeholders. You have an ability to deliver value and not sell on price, be a strong negotiator, strategic sales trained and have the gravitas to operate at the ground and move up to engage at the C suite.
