Business Manager (VP), Divisional Management Office, Group Risk ManagementThis is a high profile Group level position for an experienced banker with the passion to lead transformational changes to help drive the organisation forward. This is a rewarding role for an outstanding individual with the talent for planning, organising and orchestrating the synergistic effort of the organisation to create results and drive action.

Primary Responsibilities:

- To assist the Head of Division Management Office (Group Risk Management) to drive execution and coordination on Risk Management deliverables at Group level across all Risk functions, countries and subsidiaries.
- Lead the division in process improvement and other strategic change initiatives that would enhance organisational effectiveness, efficiency and delivery. This would involve working very closely with the various Risk units within and outside of Singapore and may include Robotic Process Automation (RPA) led changes.
- Facilitate the strategic planning process and work in coordination with the Risk Division Heads and Country Chief Risk Officers to establish the strategic plans and objectives of the Risk division.
- Facilitate the periodic review of annual work-plans to achieve the organisation's goals and objectives in the context of the business environment, available resources and organisational priorities. This would include the development of balanced scorecards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive the organisation's strategic direction.
- Manage and facilitate external, inter-divisional and other stakeholder requests on behalf of the Group Chief Risk Officer and the Head of Division Management Office.
- Manage and drive the regulatory, compliance and operational risk control processes within Group Risk Management.
- Assist the Group Chief Risk Officer and Head of Division Management Office in presentations and other division level communication activities and events.
- Other duties as required by the Head of Division Management Office in support of the Group Risk Management function.


Qualifications
Requirements

- At least 8 to 10 years in the banking industry with 5 years of working experience in the capacity as a Business Manager or similar role, driving change and orchestrating action across the organisation, is required for this position.
- Relevant experience driving process improvement, particularly involving Robotic Process Automation, will be highly preferred.
- Good project management skills developed within the Financial Services environment.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management capabilities with the right people skills to manage stakeholders upwards, downwards and laterally to drive action across the organisation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being able to multitask and manage own time and priorities well. Must be detail-oriented, organised, and be able to handle multiple deliverables and deadlines simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong presence and be comfortable in communicating with and building very professional presentations for senior management.
- Strong command of MS Office Applications.
- A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline while a Master's degree will be preferred.
- Experience in the Risk Management function will be preferred but not mandatory.
