Overall purpose of role
Supporting the Regional Compliance Run the Bank (RTB) Leads and the Global Head of Compliance RTB, this role is responsible for establishing, maintaining & reporting against various control activities across Compliance RTB & BTB in accordance with Group principles & BICEP.
The role will be responsible for reporting against a wide range of activities across the RTB responsibilities, including performance against KPI’s & KRI’s. The role will be accountable for BICEP delivery across the RTB team as well as any Audit related activities across the team.
The individual must have a strong Service and Project Management background, including LEAN process reviews & automation; automating existing processes across the team & helping to drive significant change will be a key requirement. The individual will be expected to deliver multiple enhancements across the team whilst also ensuring that major projects and books of work are established, defined and delivered to business deadlines.
The role will provide management updates in relation to Service Management and performance against the RTB responsibilities through the management of a robust performance management framework. The role holder will regularly interface with multiple stakeholders through RTB, BTB, business stakeholders and other O&T teams, to build and improve the quality of management information decks. The holder of this role will be familiar with operations concepts, practices, and procedures with specialty in support functions and service management.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for establishing and maintaining standard processes across the RTB estate for day-to-day activities. Review existing processes to ensure they are fit for purpose; establish plans to automate existing processes (either process or technically) to reduce the effort spent on them; create an environment/platform to increase automation of activities across the team
Coordinate all regular review processes required across Compliance RTB such as ACA, TCSA, Annual recertification etc. Ensure that relevant tasks and reviews are delegated and coordinated across the team as required and completed ahead of required deadlines.
Establish controls processes & procedures to ensure that the global RTB team is performing consistently against all common L1 and L2 tasks. Provide analysis, recommendations and create workshops/working groups to ensure that team exceeds recommendations
Responsible for actively reviewing our third party vendor responsibilities, achievements and measuring against agreed SLA’s. This will include establishing new processes & reporting to enable Compliance RTB to accurately track performance and (when required) ensure that remediation plans are created & executed to improve performance.
Deliver strategic control-led projects for Compliance Technology, such as BICEP; formal project & program management will be required, as well as regular engagement with senior Technology and Business stakeholders
Project & program management of various strategic initiatives across the Compliance RTB & Technology estate; including identifying, planning and execution of various initiatives; creation of Working Groups to deliver initiatives (including members from RTB & BTB); regular reporting of activities that are in flight including identifying & remediating risks
Representing Compliance RTB at various Functions-wide and Group-wide initiatives/forums; establishing and understanding impact to Compliance & presenting recommendations/approach to Compliance Technology Management
Responsible for tracking all problem, change, incident & problem management activities across Compliance RTB;
