Internship Corporate Communications trainee (6 months) starting 
7th January 2019 till 5 July 2019 
 
The internship is a training experience designed to provide learning opportunities and to develop professional competencies you’ll need to launch your career.

Function description

We are recruiting a trainee to support internal and external communications activities of our Corporate Communications and Government Relations team for Europe, Middle East & North Africa (EMENA) based in Brussels.

For a start, your job will involve to support 2 key projects :

1) Internal Management Conference to be held in March 2019 in Barcelona involving around 200 senior leaders across EMENA

This will include :

- Event planning and organisation, including interactive activities during the
  event
- Drafting of communications materials : agenda, présentations of speakers,
  etc.
- Liaising with co-organising partners and stakeholders
- Budget management
- Administrative preparation and follow-up of the event

2) External communications and Digital campaign in partnership with one of the leading media platforms to be rolled out in H1 2019 in all EMENA markets (around 30 countries)

This will include :

- Coordination of the project internal taskforce across a few markets (organizing meetings, preparing agenda, gathering feedback, follow-up)
- Coordination with the external partner (media Platform)
- Follow-up with Communications teams across EMENA and beyond (Global Corporate Communication team)
- Budget management
- Administrative support and follow-up of the project (preparing post-campaigns insights and recommendations)

After successful implementation of these 2 projects, you will be involved in other activities related to internal/external communication.  Depending on the scope, you could also get exposed to the European Affairs projects.

Profile
Bachelor/Master in Communications/Journalism
We are looking for an energetic, creative and outward-looking personality.
You are able to convincingly communicate in English (oral an written)
Organised, thinking out of the box, able to work Under thight deadlines
Experience in event/project management, internal/external communication (including writing press releases and other materials), digital and social media

Excellent spoken and written English
Good knowledge of French is an advantage
Good MS Office skills (Powerpoint, Excel, etc...)
Good knowledge of digital and social media platforms
