We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual who is passionate about data and data warehouses. This individual will have an essential role on the local team of a project with global visibility. Reporting to the Data & Reporting Lead, the analyst will have the opportunity to implement an enterprise data warehouse within an agile scrum team. In addition, the analyst will maintain existing data models and ETL codes to facilitate operational reporting once the data warehouse is established.
 
 Key responsibilities include:
- Work in collaboration with cross functional business stakeholders to define and analyse data requirements to support the business processes within the scope of corresponding information systems

- Design and support the database and table schemas for new and existent data sources for the data warehouse

- Design, develop, test and implement new ETL processes to consume data from one or more internal and external sources

- Construct the underlying physical and logical data models required to interpret information via a variety of analytic platforms

- Deliver information through data queries, reports and data visualizations

- Contribute to architecture, database ETL design and query optimization

- Proactively identify issues concerning data accuracy and data integrity

- Align data models, ETL code and data access with data governance policies and guidelines

- Ensure strict version control and code documentation for all development activities

- Develop and maintain technical specification and end-user documentation

- Work closely with the Data and Reporting team in supporting and administering the data warehouse

- Provide training and knowledge transfer to the Data and Reporting team and other business users

- Stay abreast of emerging technology and methodologies to drive continuous improvement within the MBFS’ Data Warehouse platform
