Country Digitization Engineer

What You'll Do
As a member of the Saudi CDA Team, you will work with the CDA team to identify, define and implement transformative initiative’s that will accelerate the digital adoption of latest Cisco Architecture delivering business value to the customer and targeting incremental booking opportunities for Cisco.
You will maintain close relationship with the Saudi Local Sales team, engage with partners, eco-partners as well as the CDA International team.
You will enjoy working with a very dynamic team of experts and all customer environments and levels.
You are a trusted advisor to customers, sharing best practices and advising on best technologies and architectures to address business challenges.

The Country Digital Acceleration team harnesses the power of Cisco to scale and speed the technological transformation of societies worldwide. Currently with activities spread across 22 countries and two U.S. states, the program is a catalyst to achieve advances in economic development, entrepreneurship and innovation, research and education, and national infrastructure.  In the process, it helps to fulfill Cisco’s corporate vision of changing the way we work, live, play and learn.
This position will support the definition, design, implementation and business value realization of existing and new opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
The chosen candidate will be provided training to cover knowledge gaps and evolve to a senior architect and learn business architecture methodologies and principles.
Who You Are
Ideally a CCIE with at least 10 years experience with exposure to sales and implementation of complex projects.
BS in Computer Science or Engineering required.
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills are required. 
Fast autonomous learner.
Broad technology awareness and strong interest in IoT and Digitisation
English and Arabic language fluency required
Excellent organization, project management and problem-solving skills 
Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy
Experience working with customer and vendor environment.
  Technical Skills
Expertise in the multiple verticals: healthcare, education, transportation, utilities, oil and gas.
Wired and Wireless networking expertise is essential, including SDN, Netconf/Yang. (CCIE certification highly desirable)
Linux Administration (CentOS, REDHAT, ubuntu,  ..) including lifecyle management and deployment of open source code.
You enjoy diagnosing and solving problems related to the operating system, hardware, network, and related software. 
Programming knowledge is essential: Python, APIs, JSON, etc. 
Understanding of cloud principles and latest trends and technologies.
