Director of Finance and Services (DFS) is responsible for providing Financial leadership, direction and control for the complex affiliate including commercial, clinical operations, global IT solutions center, regional procurement and IT hubs.
The DFS works with the General Manager and the leadership team to set strategies and deliver plans to achieve the short and long term goals of the business.
The DFS leads the Finance & Services function to provide effective support to the business in its day to day operations, whilst ensuring strong financial governance
Reporting, Analysis, Forecasting & Planning
Guide the business in meeting short to long-term goals by providing relevant financial as well as non-financial information & business insights
Drive a simple and fit-for-purpose business planning process that captures key strategic directions
Proactively identify key challenges & opportunities & assess their impact on the organisation
Ensure the organisation has appropriate and timely access to data sets for monitoring to improve decision making
Business Partnering & Decision Making Support
Assess the company’s financial & non-financial performance & advise the GM & LT on relevant risks, conflicts, opportunities & challenges
Provide financial information to relevant teams to assist them to meet their goals
Provide leadership in allocating financial resources & provide advice & counsel to optimally align investment
Provide finance perspectives to the overall company strategy
Ensure integrity & reliability of all financial statements
Establish & maintain robust financial systems, processes & finance controls to ensure integrity & reliability of data
Manage the local finance & accounting function, ensuring adherence to Roche Group Accounting (FGA) & local accounting standards
Provide support to the whole organisation in the area of Facilities Management, Procurement, Forecasting
Act as a role model to the entire organisation

At least three years of experience in a leadership finance position

Minimum five years of experience in finance (including finance-related degree)
University Degree/MBA in Finance or related
Fluent in English
