Job Description
Issue controlled substances to the production departments as per planned requirements and according to applicable laws
Ensure effective management of controlled substances, including accurate recording in the appropriate scheduled substance register
Manage dispensary operations to ensure that required materials are available to production, on time, according to operational requirements
Ensure all activities relating to goods movements between dispensary and production, comply with agreed Quality Standards
Ensure that the correct raw materials are received into dispensary, dispensed and returned, in the correct quantities and quality
Manage and reduce costs associated with rejects, spillage and waste from dispensary operations
Ensure returns of raw materials are checked, documented, accurate and on time
Ensure that all physical materials correlate with documentation submitted (dispensed material and returned material)
Evaluate and improve dispensary processes to ensure compliance with cGMP
Assist with inventory management activities relating to dispensary
Productivity improvement and special projects
Ensure compliance with Legal and Company requirements, including but not limited to MCC regulations, cGMP, and HSE
Personnel supervision, performance management, training and development
Oversee all warehouse activities relating to controlled substances
Supervise and control receipt and issuing of printed packaging materials, ensuring that they remain under lock and key in storage
Supervise and control receipt of all incoming controlled substances (schedule 5 and above).
Oversee all sampling activities relating to scheduled substances
Ensure all activities relating to goods movements between warehouse/dispensary comply with agreed Quality Standards
Evaluate and improve warehouse processes to ensure compliance with cGMP
Assist with inventory management activities relating to warehouse
Minimum requirements
Bachelors degree in Pharmacy English (spoken, read, write) Minimum 2 years experience in pharmaceutical industry Working knowledge of GMP and safety standards
