Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation (EC&I) Supervisor

c£45,000 plus benefits including van, etc.

Stirling, Scotland – Field based

Extensive travel across Scotland

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Engineering Supervisor with an Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation (EC&I) skillset, to oversee and manage a small team of EC&I Technicians across the Scotland region. Our client is a leader in the operations & maintenance of small power generation assets, with the opportunity for an EC&I Supervisor to join their team.

As the EC&I Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

* Supervising and managing a small team of EC&I Technicians/Engineers

* Maintenance of reciprocating engines, gas turbines and associated plant

* Planning & scheduling day-to-day maintenance works for the team

* Ensuring Health & Safety processes and procedures are adhered to at all times

* Maintaining records accurately as well as day-to-day administration duties

* Regular travel between sites in Scotland and also occasional travel to the North East of England

* Other duties as required

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

* Supervisory experience managing a small team or Engineers / Technicians

* A background in EC&I maintenance within the power generation sector (Gas engines preferable)

* Hold a recognised Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent

* Knowledge of HV Switchgear and installations

* Ability to lead and coach the team, helping further develop skills within the business

* Written and verbal communication skills (including using IT systems)

* Good time management and organisation skills

* Full UK driving licence is essential
