Team Description
The CX Strategic Assurance Team delivers a premium customer experience and Cisco growth by working as One Cisco throughout the lifecycle across highly complex and transformational engagements. Together we simplify the presales and approval process for strategic deals. Strategic Assurance develops a standard set of best practices, policies, procedures as well as tools for engagement management, deal assurance to set grounds for successful delivery execution
As part of CX Strategic Assurance Team, Deal Acceleration Team (DAT) drives, coordinates and accelerates Cisco CX opportunities providing pre-sales related support during the Propose and the Agree phase of the sales.

Role & Responsibilities
CX Strategic Assurance Engagement Specialist – pre-sales support, holding Deal Acceleration (DA) role leverages CX people, process & tools to rapidly & reliably process sales opportunities which include CX services. Main responsibilities are:
if required participate in Customers/Partners meeting to gather and understand customer’s services requirements
Based on the defined scope and received inputs calculate the costs and suggested pricing for the services, advise on the optimal project milestone structure; liaise with the P&L owners to obtain relevant approvals
Create services proposals and draft services contracts (Statement of Work - SoW)
Drive collaboration between the DAT and other stakeholders, including Sales, Delivery, Business Development, Legal and Finance to accelerate Cisco’s internal activities within the L2O cycle
Build professional relationships with the stakeholders and manage expectations
Conduct quality control of all deliverables
Engage relevant Cisco teams to complete the review and approval process of quotes, proposals and contracts
Complete handover of booked opportunities to the Delivery teams
Be part of pipeline reviews with relevant stakeholders
Be the advocate of the implemented pre-sales process
Provide constructive feedback regarding the ongoing business to the management
Business trips: 0% to 15% of time

Minimum Qualifications (Required Skills)
Required at least BA/BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent plus at least 5 years of related experience in IT industry
Good understanding of Sales and Lead to Order Process;
Demonstrates experience in either of the following: project management, service delivery, business development or bid management
Strong project coordination skills
Strong business communication and writing skills
Cross functional leadership and collaboration skills
Ability to establish priorities and work independently
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a quickly evolving environment
Sense of urgency and ownership; self-motivation to take on new challenges
Ability to quickly adapt to and understand process changes that could affect the day-to day job
Ability to work effectively in both virtual and co-located teams
Stakeholder relationship management
Assertiveness and ability to build right expectations with the stakeholders
Strong problem resolution and escalation management skills
English language full working proficiency required

Desired Skills (Preferred / Nice to Have)
Prior experience in at least one of the following roles: Pre-sales Consultant / Services Sales / Business Development Manager / Services Delivery Manager /Project Manager/ Consulting Engineer
Familiarity with Cisco product and services portfolio
Basic technical knowledge related to one or more of Cisco’s technological areas: Networking, Data Center and Cloud, Security, Collaboration
Experience working with services proposals and contracts
Good understanding of professional services delivery processes
PMP, Prince2, ITIL or any other relevant certificate would be an asset
Prior pre-sales and/or consulting experience
Knowledge of other European language(s) with preference for German, French, Russian, Spanish or Italian
