Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team consists of dedicated accounting advisory professionals across each of the islands within the BBC. We combine technical accounting skills in IFRS and US GAAP, practical experience in financial reporting as well as deep sector and regulatory knowledge. We have access to a global network of professionals with wide-ranging financial accounting standards knowledge. We help finance leaders address the strategic accounting challenges and ongoing changes facing their business, and manage the resulting repercussions on the accounting and finance function. We help them achieve their potential in acquisitions, divestitures, optimization/restructuring or accounting standards convergence.

Your key responsibilities
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas.
Demonstrate basic to intermediate knowledge of complex financial accounting concepts
Participate in projects and engagements profitably by helping the team to perform efficiently
Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client
Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks
Share knowledge with team members and help team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competencies

To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor’s degree in an accounting, finance or a business discipline, supported by a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience (ideally as an auditor) in a public
