About the job
Our Annual Report has been nominated for various industry awards and this is an opportunity for an ambitious person to take it to the next level, while keeping a clear focus on engaging with our farmer owners, the primary audience of the report. Our 2019 report can be found here:
You will be a project leader in our external reporting team and aim at driving best practice on our external reporting, collecting inputs from both internal and external sources. Your primary task will be to lead our annual report and half-year process securing a clear link between text and numbers and presenting our performance and strategy in the best way. You will also need to be highly engaged with our sustainability agenda and be able to present our sustainability performance in a clear and transparent way. Secondly, you will participate in various ah-hoc projects, amongst them assisting the team on a journey towards securing external assurance on ESG figures. You can anticipate a job with high complexity and tight deadlines in a team where we focus on achieving results through joint collaboration. You will get a great overview and insights across all parts of the Arla group and a high level of exposure working with our executive management team.
Who are you
You have experience from an international company where you have been working with complex projects and managed various stakeholders. Whilst a financial / accounting background is not essential for this role, we would hope you have a basic knowledge of financial and ESG reporting, IFRS and related financial and sustainability topics. You have a structured approach to planning and making things happen. We also expect that you are able to demonstrate creative communication skills and have a natural interest in taking our external reporting to the next level seeking inspiration both internally and outside Arla.
It is fundamental that you thrive in a busy and turbulent setting and stay focused despite quite a number of priorities and deadlines. You use your strong influencing qualities to make yourself heard across the organisation and to deliver world-class results within your specific field of expertise. You have proven that your managerial skills work out in practice, and that you are able to build and maintain long-lasting partnerships.
Finally, it is essential you are fluent in English with a particular importance on being highly skilled in written English.
