Field Services Inside Sales Representative
Schneider offers products and solutions for low and medium voltage solutions to connect, protect, control and measure a wide range of electrical systems for all industries.  We are now seeking a Field Service Sales Engineer to join our team in Singapore who will be responsible to achieve sales targets in a profitable way and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive selling, customer relationship management and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues.
Reporting to the Field Services Tendering and Inside Sales Manager, your key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
dentify serviceable assets from most of Schneider Electric including devices out of area of responsibility.
Ability to advise customer on potential solutions to prevent simple failure and/or to enhance the installation.
Knowledge of customer types, market segments, competition, and Schneider Electric’s market position
Ability to collect customer qualification and platforming data such as PAM, opportunity, and availability to evaluate customer opportunities
Seeks information on the market conditions with support from others and understands customers, channel, and competitors pricing practices
Knows and understands the strategy, strengths and weaknesses of key competitors
Ability to enter and correct data in the systems to ensure 100% data quality.
Ability to analyse data in the system and detect opportunities (retrofit, contract appropriate to needs).
Communicates across Schneider Electric organization and functions to manage contract expectations.
Understands the value chain from manufacturer to end-user value chain
Knows how to implement actions based on identified opportunities specified in the Customer Account/Action Plan
Understands various price negotiation methods and processes
Develops standard customer pricing requests using market knowledge and company guidelines before submitting for authorization
Initiates relationships at new or existing accounts
Understands the Schneider Electric sales process to qualify and prioritize potential business and spend appropriate time on the right accounts/opportunities
Keeps current on business conditions, customer developments and account history via regular interaction with the customer to maintain acceptable service levels
Converts and creates customer requests into orders
Selects and proposes the most appropriate product or product combinations to meet customer needs
Promotes ideas with confidence and provides facts in a straightforward manner.
Ensures a complete and accurate understanding of customers’ requirements.
Seeks honest, specific customer feedback to continuously improve the partnership in a global context.
Creates a strong, contextual and specific sense of urgency in order to resolve customer problems.
Displays capability to proactively challenge customers in order to reach a win-win situation.
Shows solid understanding of the customer total experience and lifecycle and effectively communicates about it.
Coordinates all relevant actions to detect and develop long-term business relationships with customers.
Qualifications & Requirements
3+ years’ of experience in services sales or similar positions
Minimum Bachelor degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Basic knowledge of global Schneider portfolio
Good technical skills and knowledge in LV/MV equipment, MCC panels & switchboards is a plus.
Previous experience in Services and Recurring maintenance contract will be a key differentiator.
Team collaborator, and have proven track record to achieve targeted sales/order
Must have good working experience in multi-vendor offers and delivery scenario is an advantage
Strong ability to analyse market and competitors
Entrepreneurial with a growth mindset
Sense of urgency for self-development &
