As GUEST SERVICE AGENT/PORTER atDoubleTree by HiltonAmsterdam Centraal Station,you will be the first point of contact for our guests.
A consummate 'people person', your passion for people and delivering exceptional guest service will be unrivalled.
Guest Services is an integral part of our business and your people skills, attitude to customer care and flair for service will be at the heart of this team.
Whether our guests are with us for business or leisure, you will be on hand to ensure a truly fantastic stay, leaving a lasting impression.
Apart from giving guests information, running errands and arranging their needs in the city, you are also accompanying them to their rooms and assist with luggage.
Per shift one porter with a driver's license is needed to park cars from in front of the entrance into the parking garage.

You ideally already work within the Porter or Concierge team in a similar environment and are keen to take on a role that allows you to develop your skills in a customer facing environment.
However if you work in a guest service environment outside of hotels and have a great passion and knowledge about Amsterdam, your application is welcome as well.

Knowledge of Amsterdam culture, sights, public transport and what is to do in the surrounding area would be beneficial for this role however the drive to upkeep your knowledge on a constant basis and your personality will be the defining factors.
Both Dutch and English language skills are essential.
Other languages are much welcome, as is a drivers license.
