About the job
As a member of the New Business Development team, you develop new product initiatives with our Product, Engineering, Marketing and Partnerships teams. You're a true thought leader who can find, digest and share industry trends and key influencers. You open doors with potential partners, chat with them about their businesses and present these opportunities to our senior leaders. In doing so, you help discover and shape some of Google's boldest ventures.
Google One provides users with expanded cloud storage, access to customer service experts, and member benefits - all in one shareable plan. As Head of Business Development for Google One in APAC, you will lead cross-functional and cross-product area teams from prospecting and pipeline creation to closure and partner management. You'll drive both strategic workstreams and day-to-day execution and will work with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Marketing, Program Management, Finance, and Leadership teams.
At Google, we set ourselves goals we know we can't reach yet. Our New Business Development team works on game-changing ideas, from technological experiments to the expansion of existing businesses into new territories. We're a team of technologists, entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what's next, working across Google to develop products and ideas that revolutionize the way people connect with information.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with mobile carriers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and other third parties to help grow Google One.
Present key agreement terms to Google leadership.
Partner across product areas, building relationships with business development and product teams beyond Google One. Work closely with Legal to draft and manage partner contracts and ensure partners are delivering on commitments, report and measure overall success of partner activities.
Lead regular business and operational reviews with partners and Google leadership, reviewing and analyzing internal data and reports provided by partners, collecting and synthesizing feedback. Drive subsequent recommendations and engaging with cross-functional colleagues to advance partnership impact.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive product strategy, and prioritize technical requirements.
