Global Customer Projects Operations (700 people around the world, 500 M€ sales) is an entity fully dedicated to projects execution in solution business. Our main mission is to master and grow large, complex and international turnkey projects for global accounts and targeted customers in various segments. We lead Regional Application Centers, Global Expertise, Regional Execution platforms and support functions.
Global Customer Projects Operations is looking for Head of Customer Project Managers.
As Head of Customer Project Managers, your missions will be the following:
Responsible for the successful execution of solution projects portfolio, lead a team of Customer Project Managers handling each projects toward business performance and customer satisfaction while ensuring the compliance with applicable company polices, process (main one being CPP: Customer Project Process) and tools.
Master solution business risks and opportunities at center's portfolio level in order to insure accurate risk coverage and mitigation with opportunities.
Ensure effective PM coordination and interface toward internal stakeholders, customers and third parties
Put in place within own team and toward other department a solid collaboration spirit in line with Schneider-Electric values.

As Head of Customer Project Managers, your key responsibilities / activities will be the following:
Manage hierarchically multi-cultural Project Management team (with by exception some other roles) toward business and financial objectives. Structure, build and develop team.  Assign PMs on projects based on their expertise & experience and projects risk & complexity. Manage workload vs. business requirements.
Ensure within own portfolio that projects are properly managed by her/his team in term of time, cost, scope. Steer portfolio to secure risks & address opportunities; Support & coach PMs in the preparation of Project Reviews to the management. Build her/his own management view. Contribute to Center's business reviews.
Coach Project Managers to increase their functional (Project Management) and leadership (behavioral & personal) competencies' proficiency level; Ensure PMs' leadership on projects and effective collaboration with other functions (Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Service ...).
Provide operational support to her/his PM team in term of methods, mindsets, communication and stakeholder management. Bring expertise and know-how in the management of critical issues and take active part of issue escalation process. Can takeover temporary PM role on a project in critical phase.
Develop PMs' customer oriented mindset in order to insure full customer satisfaction. Help PMs to manage customer relationship and handle critical customer issues if needed. Support PMs during major variation orders and claims requests to/from Customers negotiation.
Take full accountability over project portfolio business performance & profitability including 1. timely revenue recognition as per forecast; 2. budget (cost & margin) forecasting, engagements follow-up as per commitment;  3. Cash flow & working capital forecasting and follow-up; 4,Follow-up of key projects milestones.
Ensure her/his teams and suppliers are executing projects in full compliance with Schneider-Electric processes, safety, quality instructions and governance principles (incl. CPP process, tools and guidelines). Take all necessary actions to correct any deviations or Ethical issues occurring during project execution.
Some words about scope & environment:
Within a Zone Application Center (zone being either a consistent multi-countries area or a large country) under Zone Execution Center leadership or Regional Application Center (Region being a consistent multi-Zone area) under Application Center Manager leadership

Qualifications
University Master Degree (Engineering and/or Business) or equivalent.
10 years experience in Customer Project environment
Proven people management experience, ideally within multi cultural, multi sites and/or matrix organization
Project Manager experience managing large teams, remote project team
