Job Overview:

Covance are recruiting for a Health Economic Modeller to join the team, the ideal location is office based in London, however our team may consider candidates based anywhere in the EU. The role supports client engagements and internal requests, projects and business development efforts by doing the necessary research, data collection, analysis and interpretation;economic modelling (including cost-effectiveness, budget impact and cost-minimisation models); and may include additional tasks such as the development of value messages, dossiers, reports and other written deliverables, educational materials; conducting stakeholder and market access research; working with programming and design; and presenting to clients as needed.


Good life science undergraduate degree from a reputable university is required. Post-graduate qualifications such as MSc/MRes or PhD are preferred.Internal training on value communication, market access, pricing and reimbursement, health economics, modelling, statistics, referencing, proofing etc. provided.


The Senior Associate should have previous experience in a consulting or research practice or a health products manufacturer as ahealth economicmodeller.

Must have sound knowledge of health economic modelling principles; highly competent in Excel, including use of visual basic programming and ability to develop complex models (e.g. Markov models, PSA); and ability to provide modelling support to team members and colleagues.

Candidates should have strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills. Demonstrated proficiency in various software programs, including Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and EndNote; experience in other programs such as R would be highly valued. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to collaborate and work with peers to accomplish tasks assigned.
