Do you have what we are looking for?
Minimum 6 years of working experience in a reputable consultancy firm;
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in rapidly growing, fast paced and interactive environment;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other related subjects with minimum GPA of 3.00 from a reputable university;
Strong leadership skills coupled with excellent English writing and speaking skills;
Solid research and analytical skills;
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with people across all levels in organization;
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline, while maintaining quality at all times;
Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently; and
Exceptional client relationship management skills
What will you do as an International Tax Manager?
As a member of the International Tax team, you will prepare cross-border tax advisory advice involving local tax regulation and tax treaty analysis. You will also be involved in merger and acquisition assignments and tax due diligence engagements. Our success — and that of our clients — depends on our people, so we take your development seriously. As such, you will attend international and domestic tax training, which will keep you up to date with the latest international tax developments, changes in various jurisdictions as well as Base Erosion and Profit Shifting updates.
Mentor and supervise junior and senior consultants;
Analyze information and apply local regulation or tax treaty provisions to client situations;
Contribute to structuring analysis and understand effective tax rates in various jurisdictions;
Address the tax implications of a proposed structure or transactions;
Prepare and review reports and advice that will be delivered to clients;
Prepare and review monthly and annual tax compliance assignments;
Contribute as a team member or team leader for merger and acquisition and tax due diligence projects;
Support other tax service lines where required; and
Liaise with clients, other EY offices around the globe and tax offices.
