A well established international asset management firm is looking for a high caliber candidate to join as Investment Management Operations, Middle Office. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management firm an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high caliber candidate to join them.

Support the Middle Office team across various operational and project focused related activity within the APAC region includes trade support, portfolio accounting and data management functions. Recommend solutions and leads various process and systems efforts in support of business plan initiatives. Participate in cross functional and intra-department efforts. Participate in user acceptance testing efforts around new systems, system enhancements, and new instrument types. Evaluate operational processes and control structures when errors occur to identify potential gaps. Develop recommendations for change where appropriate and leads efforts to implement change. Process flow documentation and opportunity identification. Implement changes via process change or technology adoption. Maintain and improve metrics reporting. As escalation point for broker and custodians, to ensure well-controlled, seamless end-to-end processes. Provide oversight of Service Provider and monitor Service Level Deliverables.

To be considered, you will be a university graduate with around 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in middle office or operations. Able to collaborate in a team environment and build relationships. Demonstrated initiative to proactively initiate process improvement opportunities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Experience in trade support, corporate actions and pricing.
