IT Pensions Consultant UK based £50,000-£55,000

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Pensions Consultant to join their busy agile project team. The IT Pensions Consultant will be responsible for providing consultancy services to both internal and external software and administration clients in all aspects of Pensions Systems Configuration. The IT Pensions Consultant will become an SME on our client's pensions system with the ability to understand it's full capabilities of the systems to be able to assess what is feasible with end requirements. The IT Pensions Consultant will therefore already have a strong pensions understanding of both DC and DB pensions.

This will be a client facing role where the IT Pensions Consultant will be responsible for capturing the clients requirements. This would be an ideal position for a pensions Business Analyst with strong consultancy or external client facing skills.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Pensions Consultant

Provide consultancy regarding client requirements and formulation of solutions making optimum use of the pension software.
Provide consultancy to clients in relation to the application of software for new requirements, upgrades, changing legislation or changes to the client's schemes.
Provide support to clients in accordance with role in "support package" agreed with the client and in accordance with support procedures.
Participate in the planning, development and delivery of client training, in particular where bespoke training courses are required.
Provide consultancy to all project teams, as required, on all aspects of system design and implementation.
Provide support to project teams, attending client meetings and internal meetings as requested.
Monitor systems design and implementation to ensure consistency of approach and re-use of previously developed ideas and software.
Provide support to the Sales & Account Management team in the preparation of ITT response documents.
Assist with the preparation and delivery of system presentations and demonstrations, as required. Key Skills for the IT Pensions Consultant

Previous experience in a Pensions Systems role
Experience of Pension scheme calculations, configuration or data migration
Pensions domain expertise, ideally across both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution
Client facing
Good communication and documentation skills
