Function as CIS IT support person, handling and managing the IT
assets of Cognizant Latvia based out of Riga. Position is expected to perf
orm IT
resource management related tasks such as asset tracking, installation and
provisioning of IT assets to end users and need to have sufficient experience
in handling windows Active Directory, File and print environments .The position
is also expected to maintain asset inventory and work on maintaining and
troubleshooting laptops/printers/scanner/phone issues and provide remote
support to users if necessary. This position will coordinate with other IT team
members to provide a stable IT environment across Continental Europe.
IT Resource Management Process,
Driving & Monitoring Queue for ticket closure.
Escalation Tracking and own till closure.
Daily dashboard publishing
Operational action points tracking and closure
Work on End point compliance (Control parameters
–AD /AV / MBAM / DA / Avecto /SCCM )
Technical support in Application software for
Printer device support
Responsible for Asset Inventory; Tracking and
Work on issues related to Hardware /Operating
system for both
laptops and desktops.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to
Messaging and Communicator.
Software Installation based on ITAM requests raised
by end user
Intune Support on Phone
VNET / Tandberg support
Hands and Feet Support for Technology Towers – DCS;
Vendor management for warranty and repair related
Handling day to day operational calls with respect
to Laptops /Phones /SmartPhones related issues,
Active Directory and File Share management,
Hardware and software inventory management.
Minimum 2+ years of IT support experience,
in system integrator or IT vendor environments preferred,
certification will be an advantage
degree required.
in Local Language and English
Knowledge and experience in handling Active Directory and File/Print Environments,
Proficiency in installation/configuration and troubleshooting of Laptops and desktops,
Knowledge in Windows administration.
Knowledge in Microsoft suite of products and their troubleshooting,
Basic knowledge in Windows server 2008, 2012
Basic Networking skills.
Basic understanding of Data, Voice & Video infrastructure.
Written and Oral proficiency in English,
Ability to effectively interact with peers and managers.
