Description

The logistics operation manager will report into Chengdu Logistics Organization. Responsible for the storage or movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound material, equipment, and finished goods by engaging 3PL and transportation supplier. Deliver logistics excellence, develops and implements control systems to move material in a timely and cost effective manner. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications

� Bachelor or Master of Engineering degree in Supply Chain/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent working experience with 5 years of relevant experience.
� Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills & an ability to build strong relationships
� Solid analytical skills are required in identifying, analyzing and root-causing issues.
� Candidate should have experience in Project Management, and leadership in driving structured problem solving and projects through LEAN approaches.
� The preferred candidate must also show the ability to challenge the status quo, test assumptions and make changes that lead us to success in the future.
� Rich supplier management experience with 3PL or forwarder management background will be a plus
