To support and implement G-CCB strategy, there is a need to have global Operations position based in Shanghai to support the global New Product Launch process at the Operations group with technical reporting and information analysis.

Main Tasks
The Product Launch Technical Manager is mainly responsible for:

Driving product launch with technical information gathering, analysis, reporting and recommendations

Managing key interface between Product R&D, Process R&D, Technology Managers, Quality and Production

Tracking and steering key technical tasks related to the new product launches

Maintaining efficient communication on technical matters within the global product launch group

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

Works with Product R&D, Process R&D, Technology Managers, Quality and Production to ensure creation of the technical launch documentation

Conducts analysis of local bottlenecks and limitations for: product, process, equipment, material and testing capability to steer the global product launch process

Participates on-site, as launch team member in selected product launches

Works with the Global Product Launch Planner to plan and prioritize the global launch schedule

Distributes the technical launch updates to the Global Product Launch group and Operations Management


Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field

PHD’s degree preferred

8+ years of experience in Battery Materials Research & Development

Fluent in English language skills

Exceptional written and oral communication skills required

Must be resourceful, proactive, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency

Team player who works well in collaborative situations
