ESSENTIAL AND OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major is essential.
 Minimum 2 years’ with Hospitality Marketing experience within hotel industry
 Social Media experience is preferred
 Strong presentation skills and strong copywriting skills
 Proficient in Digital Marketing and Distribution in the media
 Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
 Well versed with Photoshop
 Proficiency in creative software tools
 Excellent admin skills.

KEY TASKS

Support press releases and editorial placements
 Support with incoming media requests.
 Coordinate Press Itinerates.
 Handles photo shoots, film shoots, and interviews.
 Assist in developing and maintain relationships with media partners.
 Update and maintain PR collateral, reports and online platforms.
 Handle tours and provide accurate communications to visiting journalists and bloggers.
 Entertain customers, bloggers and Digital partners as necessary
 Develop relationships with key digital marketing media players and the travel industry
 Handle internal communications to coordinate press visits and other PR activities.
 Work closely with the Advertising, Creative, and PR Agencies.
 Manage social media accounts as per hotel policy.
 Ensure that the information on websites and promotions on
MERCURE AND ITS PEOPLE
