Summary of the role:We are looking for a creative Marketing & Events Sr. Specialist to leadthe event strategy of our ''Amadeus for Developers'' programme, driving both in person and digital events (including conferences, hackathons, meetups and webinars). You will own this channel end-to-end, from strategy to execution to measurement, working closely with different business units and corporate functions, while constantly keeping abreast of the market landscape and trends. You will develop innovative experiences that resonate with technical audiences and leave them inspired, educated, and excited to create more. You will also work closely with communication and design teams to develop and launch global, innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels to support Amadeus for Developers go-to-market objectives.The role is part of our cross-functional Open Innovation team. It is a dynamic, diverse, fast-growing team addressing a strategic area for the company, which provides a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping Amadeus innovation strategy.Main responsibilities:1. Events management:Develop the events and conferences strategy for Amadeus for Developers as a key pillar of the go-to-market strategy.Research industry events to identify and evaluate opportunities for sponsorships and partnerships on an on-going basis. Define prioritization across event types and geographies as per go-to-market objectives.Ideate creative ideas and event concepts that are unique and resonate with the target audience (developers, startups and innovators). Design memorable brand experiences.Drive the entire project lifecycle, from event vision and concept to timeline management, budget, execution and reporting. Ensure timely achievement of projects, communicate status, and drive decision making with internal stakeholders.Facilitate cross unit collaboration and communication amongst internal stakeholders and partners, and well as external resources.Source and negotiate vendors and suppliers. Cultivate relationships with finance, legal and procurement partners to ensure compliant processing of vendor agreements, purchase orders, and payments.Lead event production and operations, including planning equipment needs and shipments, or booking and setting up the venue.Work with communication and design partners to define actions to promote the event.Analyze event success and prepare evaluative reports. Measure impact and present recommendations for improvement2. Marketing campaigns management:Create, shape and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote Amadeus for Developers and engage with the innovation community, in coordination with the Developer Relations team.Project manage campaigns to ensure they meet target objectives and they are delivered on time and within budget.Work closely with other marketing and design partners to oversee execution of campaigns.Report campaign results and provide recommendations.Requirements:Fluent in English (full professional proficiency)Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.5+ years of experience planning and executing customer focus events (tech industry a plus).Proven experience designing and managing campaigns across multi-channels.Extensive experience managing external vendors and agencies.Provenproject management/organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent prioritization and time management skills, and effective budget management.Ability to develop compelling presentations and to advocate persuasively for project results.Graphic design and/or digital asset management background would be a plus.Demonstrable success with analyzing data and deriving insight for improvement.Ability to identify and resolve issues independently and communicate solutions effectively.Creative mindset and out-of-the-box thinking, with a passion for innovation and technology.Ability to travel, and occasionally to work non-standard working-hours to support events.
