JOB DESCRIPTION:Abbott is recruiting a Marketing Manager EMEA for Cardiac Rhythm Management.


The primary objectives of the role are:


·      Plan revenue & Divisional Margin achievement for CRT Portfolio

·      Achievement of market share goals and value maximization for all CRT product areas

·      Effective development and implementation of marketing strategies and activities throughout EMEA

·      Brand Differentiation and Value Preservation / Creation

·      EMEA marketing lead for input into, and high-level execution of, global strategies across EMEA geography for maximum impact and outcomes to the CRT business

·      Influence and monitor market activities across EMEA


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


- Develop an annual marketing strategy and plan (product management and marketing activities) for and with Countries/Regions

- Work in close cooperation and influence Countries/Regions to ensure optimal implementation and alignment to achieve business objectives
- Ensure alignment with global objectives and programs
- Work with the global marketing group and Marcom to develop content and materials that support our strategies, marketing campaigns and product launches
- Plan and launch new products, oversee advertising campaigns, and monitor sales performance
- Monitor and evaluate impact of marketing campaigns and product launches
- Link and implement programs together with the Medical Affairs group to create preferential market growth & share attainment
- Lead and influence through strong marketing plans & strategy, ensure credibility within EMEA sales channels
- Develop KOL engagement programs across EMEA region to strengthen relationship at a personal as well as at an organizational level with KOL in the field of CRT and related
- Provide guidelines for financial planning and forecasting as well as strategic planning exercises
- Gather Market Intelligence & Monitor, analyze, and evaluate EMEA market trends
- Analyze consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify market opportunities
- Ensure compliance in performing the training as required by the training procedure
- Conduct market research, to create input to product development and design, set prices
- Liaise with other areas of the organization (e.g., production, R&D) to implement these changes.
- Monitor sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts for the region
- Liaise with supply chain and demand planning, manage backorders prioritizing countries
- Liaise with the events team on the organization of meetings and congresses.


EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES


- MS level (Engineering or Medical education preferred), MBA desired
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the medical devices industry, with CRM knowledge (Sales and Marketing) strongly preferred
- Other sales channel experience e.g. digital, preferred
- Large Multinational companies experience (Multi-stakeholder experience preferred)
- Mature Product Life-cycle management advantageous
- Business and project planning experience
- Analytical, Creative and operational high-level marketing skills
- Strong Communication & influencing skills
- Ability to interface with key customers and opinion leaders - all stakeholders
- Results and performance driven
- Creative thinking and change management
- People Management and coaching skills
