1.   POSITION SUMMARY
 
This position is in charge of driving the growth of some areas of the portfolio in Japan market.
 
The position leads/supports strategy development of some areas of the portfolio that can win in Japan market by leveraging deep understanding of the local consumer insight.  The positon implements innovation and activation plan by collaborating with Local and Regional cross-function team with minimum support from Line Manager (LM).
 
The position demonstrates visible contribution in Team Engagement and contribution to Talent development of junior marketing associates.
 
The position commits to personal development aiming to become a strong candidate for the Portfolio Manager.
 
Needs minimum 3 years’ experience in FMCG Marketing or equivalent experience with strong achievement record.  Experience in collaborating with cross-functional members. Needs strong communication skill in both Japanese and English.
 
 
2.   MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

l  Lead strategy development of sub-brand in the portfolio and plan through deep understanding of the local consumer insight with minimum support from LM
l  Lead Innovation / Communication / Activation / Sales support projects independently with minimum support from LM
l  Develop and deliver winning proposition for the assigned project to contribute to brand’s growth
l  Support LM to co-lead / co-create Local & Regional cross functional Ways of Working (WoW) and engagement.
l  Co-lead to reinforce team’s engagement (incl. petcare mktg division)  
l  Support LM for functional development of junior mktg associates through supervising and mentoring
l  Contribute to Global / Regional communities of brands related to the portfolio by sharing key learnings, updates and the best practices with necessary help from LM
 
3.   DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY

l  Agree with Line Manager on the strategy & plan of the assigned innovation / activation / communication projects

l  Recommend and Agree with Line Manager on the best utilization of budgets.

l  Input his / her own ideas and POV to the portfolio strategy development
