Position Description:
• Good collaboration/communication skill with cross functions including but not limited to all related GCM/GSM/RD/PM/OTM/IDC/Cost/Portfolio/SBB in order to understand clearly of requirement from both sides and gap to be fixed
• Good time management and multi-tasking skills and fully awareness of key check points of multiple projects and IOD/NPI timeline per project
• Good analysis skill to get right volume/AR/cost in order to identify things to be optimized
• Good command of project/site mapping and control commonality/complexity among projects
• Good understanding of Workstation commodities and industry/cost competitive knowledge
• Strong xls, ppt presentation skills and communication skills in English as well as Chinese
• Aware of source base of key parts/commodities and general sourcing strategy behind them
• Fully understand root cause/impact of key changes in terms of scope/source/supply/cost/complexity with proposal of own to decide where to go
• Familiar with segment portfolio and impact of change that may bring to back end team
• Familiar with MFG global footprint and basic pros/cons of In-house/ODM
• Creative and innovative thinking to solve Customer issues/problems and create WIN-WIN
• Able to seek out and provide value-add activities continuously
• Familiar with NPI product operations, esp. product development process and NPI phases
• Result oriented, professional and be able to work independently with minimum supervision

Position Requirements:
• Understand the DTWS Portfolio, Projects Offerings with key technology parts and Timeline
• Resource evaluation based on portfolio/project change and provide recommendation in BC
• In-house/ODM preliminary sourcing alignment
• New tech/parts/supplier initial communication/evaluation and ensure closure on qualification
• Understand MRD and align tech spec/ID with RD/IDC
• Align operation model/volume/configs with PM with referring to last Gen data to control complexity
• Align schedule requirement with GCM/OTM/RD
• Lead/Conduct/Support various NPI checkpoints (PKO, EBR, BC, SCAR, SCRR, MDRR, SVT, SS, …)
• Prepare and present project status and complexity/AR analysis to SC and BU management/teams
• Manage schedule and supply readiness to ensure project SS (TTM) and TTV are met (no impact)
• Align PM cost target/TEC ”should be” with cost team/RD/GCM and drive gap closure
• Manage Platform/Parts/Box level cost to meet target – do Gen2Gen cost analysis
• Own and align source plan with GCM/RD to ensure number of source align with sourcing guidance per category and supplier align with sourcing strategy – manage single/sole source exception approvals
• Own sourcing plan and coordinate AVL with System Lead/TPM/GCM through NPI to LC/EOL
• Manage PCR along product lifecycle to ensure source/cost/supply/complexity/risk mitigation aligned between GSC and PG/Segment.
• Align Platform and Key Commodity Cost/Supply/Source with GCM/PG/RD – Chassis/PSU/MB/Memory/Storage/ODD/Wireless/Adapters/GPU/KB/CPU
• Control and monitor MB complexity from plan phase to EOL
• Review and control key part requirement to manage complexity – KB/PSU/GPU/CPU etc.
• Drive/engage in strategic discussion on sourcing and new supplier development to expand AVL
• Project management that may related to but not constraint to local site analysis/enablement, complexity reduction, new form factor or ABO ODM/In-house analysis, etc.
