Ethicon Endo Surgery, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Planning Process Integration Lead to be located in Guaynabo-Puerto Rico, Somerville-NJ or Brussels-Belgium.
The Planning Process Integration lead ensures, as part of transformational projects such as Orchard, that reliable planning processes are designed, developed and implemented according to the base planning needs during the transition. In order to achieve this, he / she works closely with the planning partners, business SME’s, project team(s) and with technology services (TS). The Planning Process Integration lead will be reporting within the ETH/ CSS Planning Excellence organization (part of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Supply Chain). Planning Excellence is responsible to improve the maturity of core planning processes (demand planning, supply planning, production planning, S&OP) by introducing innovative supply chain capabilities.
As a Planning Process Integration Lead, you will:
Support development of planning processes and system design / architecture. Validate solutions with the business stakeholders and SME’s. Processes in scope include (but are not limited to) network planning, Order management, network teamwork MRP/MPS/scheduling/ procurement.
Support documentation of all current product flows (including exceptions / direct ship) and lead development of future flows. Reconfirm business needs / design for ‘special’ flows.
Facilitate development of process templates, procedures and tools for the new process. Recommend areas for automation, potentially using advanced technologies.
Oversee impact assessment of future flows on the organization, current system landscape / set-up and reporting capabilities. Align with TS on changes to be made to legacy and future systems.
Determine impact / interdependencies with other projects (fe. OMP project, other network projects) and work with TS / project teams on mitigations.
Perform scenario analysis for ‘interim’ states, determine interdependencies and provide solutions on how to deal with them.
Ensure all system solutions are consistently meeting the needs of the business.
Bachelor’s Degree is required; Engineering is preferred.
Advanced degree, MBA is preferred.
PMP, FPX SME, lean / 6S Black Belt, APICS(CPIM, CFPIM OR CIRM) certifications are preferred.
Minimum 8 years of supply chain and project management experience is required.
Experience within the pharmaceutical, medical devices and consumer environment is preferred.
Project and Program management experience, including scoping, planning, execution and resource management is required.
Experience with Planning and transactional Systems (e.g. JDE, SAP APO / SNC, JDA/Manugistics, Demantra/PDP, OMP+) is required.
Experience successfully implementing change across multiple organizations with cross functional partners is required.
Global experience is preferred.
Excellent grasp of planning processes and functions, with a deep understanding of end-to-end planning processes is preferred.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is required.
Proficiency in English is required.
Travel domestically 25% of the time.
