Position Purpose(Overview of the position)
Work with AP and Global cross functional teams to achieve , and vehicle planning deliverables, including development of content and business case, for next generation of CV in AP.  Support development of key strategic studies. 
 Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position 
Assist in the development of AP segment and vehicle line product proposals that competitively meet customer needs across AP markets (primarily China).
Lead/Support segment supervisor as product planning single point of contact to global product teams delivering AP programs.
Develop consistent data analysis of segment wants for platform, vehicle, powertrain, & technology Cycle Plans.
Lead/coordinate the phase-in of vehicle line regulation, corporate policy, (including fuel economy and emissions), technology and features for AP segments.
Lead delivery of pre- studies for AP cycle plan programs.
Lead analysis of new business and product opportunities to improve Vehicle Line profitability.
Support special product and market studies to deliver AP business needs.  
Candidate Specification
Education Qualification Engineering and/or Business Degree
No. of Years of Experience  
 3 to 5 years
Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills)  
Familiarity with GPDS deliverables and Global / Regional Planning R&Rs
Experience in competitive analysis, business case development and strategy development; strong business acumen skills
Experience with automotive technologies and components
Outstanding communication skills, including paper writing / PowerPoint
Preferred previous experiences  
Prior planning/strategy or program experience (product planning, program management, business planning).
Functional Skills
Working knowledge of GPDS
Familiar with milestone approval process
Knowledge on Finance, Roundtable, Workshop organization, IE and ITM will be a plus
