Job Overview Job responsibilities for the position include designing and debugging of test interface HW (loadboard), test SW (test program) development, HW/SW integration, characterization plan development, first silicon debug, process experiment (split) definition, multiple-source fab matching, device characterization, data analysis, product documentation/presentation, test limit (guardband) generation; driving failure analysis to completion, yield variance control. The job scope also requires the engineer to drive for short term and long term test time reduction and yield improvement to meet set goals without compromising production quality for multiple projects in parallel. Teradyne UltraFlex experience is preferred. Advantest 93K and National Instrument/R&D experience is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with handling of AEC Q100 qualification, production testing at hot/cold temperature and PAT (Part Average Testing) techniques. Solid understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal, power management and RF circuit analysis techniques. Working knowledge of RF transceiver measurement techniques such as noise figure, gain/power, linearity, ACLR, phase noise, etc. Strong software skills (VB, Perl etc.) for writing and debugging test codes. Hands on experience with Teradyne IFlex/UFlex ATE. Expertise in Advantest 93K or LabView is a plus Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process. Knowledge and hands on experience with statistical analysis software package and techniques, quality and reliability testing. Wafer fabrication fundamentals are a plus. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Able to organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and remote teams. Experience with presenting product and test data driven decisions to create effective and efficient product development. Good ASIC device level characterization skills. System level knowledge is a plus. Able to work comfortably with lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Source Meters, Battery Emulators, Spectrum analyzers, etc. Able to work independently and with good initiative to overcome technical challenges. Experience in Six Sigma Statistical process Control is preferred Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering required. Master's degree preferred.
