SUMMARY
This position is accountable for managing moderate size and complex customer project orders, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.

This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of customer projects.

Individual in this position confirms customer requirements, includes drawings, specifications, job site requirements, bill of material alignment with specifications & clarify exceptions.

Manages complete job process from order preparation, thru manufacturing release, product shipment, post shipment support and financial reconciliation utilizing a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their use.

PRIMARY ROLE
Ø

Takes ownership for validating the project’s statement of work and contract terms with the customer, including both technical and commercial elements, becomes lead contact for customer for balance of project order. (Project Initiation).
Ø

Develops a project schedule and communicates with the customer to ensure expectations are being met.

Direct engagement with the customer internal manufacturing facilities and third party vendors.

Ø

Monitor the execution of the customer’s project order, verifying execution of the project through kick-off meetings, communication to all parties and exchange of technical requirements and project plan information.
Ø

Lead the monitor and control of the performance of the customer’s project through its lifecycle.

Key activities include task completion verification, project team monitoring, managing the exchange of project updates across the project team members, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration.

Lead the closeout of the customer’s project to include financial reconciliation, verification of job site equipment arrival, installation, start-up, and training support completion through review of internal system information, contact with the customer, and coordination with support services such as field services, after-shipment support, and training functions.

Compares/differentiates/propose alternate products with additional customer value compared to competition.
Ø

Solves problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationship.
Ø

Utilizes a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their use and demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology needed for effective project management.
Customer Care and Quality
Ø

Ensure the successful and quality implementation of projects.
Ø

Deliver services to achieve highest customer satisfaction.
Ø

Point of escalation of client for issues during project execution stage.
Ø

Identify the improvements needed, document it and communicate to the respective internal owners and stake holders
Partner Management
Ø

Responsible for managing partners and vendors during implementation stage and conducting quality control checks on their works during the project stage.
Ø

Monitor and communicate the performance of partners and vendors during execution to Schneider’s procurement team.
Ø

Ensure the compliance to Schneider Electric’s processes, methodology and code of conduct by sub-contractors and partners including adherence at all time of client’s site rules and guidelines.
Training and Development
Ø

Update and educate yourself with the current applicable technologies, tools, processes and standards
TRAVEL
Ø

This position will be based in Philippines and domestic travel 25% of the time is expected. Occasional travel around Asia may occur as part of the role.
Qualifications
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should have the following background and experience.

Ø

At least 3 to 7 years in a relevant project management and supervision capacity of which at least 2 years should be in the deployment, installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems in industrial or commercial buildings.
Ø

Experience in deployment of equipment in data center or computer room
