Manage procurement-related activities within capital projects in Asia.
Control procurement cost, schedule and qualify of equipment and service through the implementation of pre-defined procurement execution plan.
Ensure procurement plans and operations processes meet the requirement of global and regional procurement strategy and BASF procedure.

Main Tasks:
Define and align procurement execution plan including category strategy with project team, category buyers and engineering partner.
Timely design, and align and implement project specific procurement process with all stakeholders.
Monitor that EP/EPC acts according to BASF requirements.
Strive for value contribution.
Align bidders’ lists in collaboration with the Procurement Verbund Team.
Define minimum requirements for master purchase order.
Ensure that required deviations of the prescribed rules are approved internally and audit-proof documented.
Perform adequate control of EP contractor's procurement services.
Track procurement progress, completeness and traceability of related documents.
Avoid/mitigate and manage risks.
Manage change and claim, back-charging, capture lessons learned.

Bachelor of science in engineering, chemistry, economics or finance. MBA highly preferred.
At least 8 years of procurement experience.
Technical background is preferred.
Fluent English, Mandarin and Japanese language skills.
