For our location Bakel, The Netherlands, we are searching for an enthusiastic and energetic colleague to join our team of Product Development for Food Processing. We are driven by performance, quality, fast response to our customers and continuous improvement of our products and processes.

•Responsibility for the mechanical design and completion of the product fact file of a development project•Work in a multi-disciplinary project team (mechanical, electrical, software, motion, sensing, application technology) to create concept(s) / design(s), supported by key theoretical calculations•Translate customer (in- and external) requirement specifications into machine (module) concept(s), while taking into account project costs, CE regulations, design standards, manufacturability, serviceability, technical risk, delivery time •Support Product Management, Supply Chain & Production and Service organization as a technical specialist•Direct and lead other team members of Product Engineering and Development and/or external engineers•Support functional and performance validation testing of prototypes Your Profile / Qualifications

•Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics •3 - 5 years of relevant working experience, preference also in modular design and design for Food Industry•Experience with CAD and PLM software•Understanding state-of-the-art production technologies•Analytical, technically creative, hands-on team-player, open-minded to ideas of others, with strong communication skills•Good knowledge of Dutch and English language, both written and spoken•Willingness to occasionally travel For more information, please contact Bas Rassaerts, Head of Product Development – Meat Treatment.
