What You'll Do
Enterprise networking (EN) solutions are in high demand for our customers. As we look to develop and provide sales plays that help us create greater relevancy with our customers, accelerate our ability to gain market share, we have created a sales team focused on accelerating best practices for EN in the Global Commercial space. If you want to be on the forefront of bringing next generation EN solutions to our customers and then scaling those insights to the field, this is the team for you.
As the Sales Business Development Manager (SBDM) for EN, your primary responsibilities are to define Sales Plays and Campaigns and the right portfolio of products, solutions and offers to drive sales growth for Cisco within Commercial globally. You will also be responsible for gathering and providing information on market trends, bold insights and responses, and defining Cisco’s unique value proposition for our customer and partner business needs. Your success in this role will be measured against the growth of the Commercial business and the usage of the Sales Plays, campaigns, offers and promotions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
You will define and drive the EN Business through the following:
Define and develop WW SMB focused product and solutions portfolio. Work with geo and country teams to support localization, product development, and variance in portfolio as needed.
Develop a deep understanding of mid-market and SMB customer and partner technical and business requirements, market opportunities, and high-reaching conditions.
Use your in-depth technical understanding of the products and solutions in the Commercial portfolio to work collaboratively with the business units, engineering teams, and go- to- market teams and provide input on the business and technical requirements needed to effectively win in the SMB and Mid-Market both in the short term and long term.
Drive revenue growth through packaging offers, and through up-sell and cross sell of our portfolio. Identify and develop solutions for unique consumption models, and work with various finance and offer teams to bring them to market.
Conduct regular business reviews with key partners to measure success of portfolio and offer performance, collect feedback and insights, and develop action plans for continued success.
Who You'll Work With
You will work cross functionally with the geo teams, Commercial programs leads, business units, sales leadership, marketing, go-to-market teams, strategy and finance to ensure we have the right offerings at the right price points for Cisco to effectively grow revenue and gain market share in Commercial.
Who You Are
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
You have 5+ years’ experience in the IT industry, preferably in systems engineering, product management, or pre-sales with demonstrable success at achieving high growth in a technology area. Technical knowledge of enterprise networking solutions with the ability to map to critical customer and partner requirements is key.
You have familiarity with Cisco’s products, architectures and services offerings in the Commercial mid-market and SMB space. Knowledge of key offerings particularly in enterprise networking is desired.
You are a strong strategic & creative thinker—able to offer new, innovative strategies to achieve significant growth in a technology area. Track record of successful performance as a “change agent”.
You've established the capability to work cross-functionally across various organizations to drive outcomes, as well as ability to influence and lead in a highly matrixed model.
You have excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills and can articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the organization.
You have a strong background and understanding of product, service, and channels sales at Cisco or comparable
